2. Certificado de Vida y Residencia

The Certificado de Vida y Residencia is an official document issued directly by the local police in Paraguay. It formally registers and confirms that an individual is alive and resides at a specific address. It is highly valuable for international finance, as some strict brokerages and offshore banks prefer this official police certificate over standard bank statements or utility bills to verify your address.

Additionally, it is a required document for local tax registration (like obtaining a Unipersonal RUC) and is often requested by foreign governments to prove your residency status abroad.
